  • Busy Busy and More Busy

Well, I haven't had alot of time to update this thing due to new job, school, jerkface boyfriend and now my cooperative education placement where I sometimes have to stay late.

I have made a CRAP LOAD of stuff!
    -Super easy jersey scarf
    -Alien purse
    -Fingerless gloves
    -Little hair bow
    -Finished my Chicago dress
-Finished my off the shoulder slice shirt
    -Some braided bookmarks
    -A little shrug thing
-Did a couple of failed reconstructions (but we won't go there)

    I think that's it. Pictures below :)

Off The Shoulder Shirt - Excuse the dirty shirt, I wore it to work one day (god knows why) so it's covered in dog hair and I haven't thrown it in the laundry yet.

    Music Tank and Scarf

Chicago Dress- Yes, I have very unsteady hands so the photos are pretty shaky.

Alien Purse - This was made from part of the fail skirt.

I'll post the rest of the pictures later just because I'm lazy :)

  • This is how I took out my anger at 4 in the morning

So on Tuesday my boyfriend and I got into a pretty massive fight. I couldn’t sleep all night so I took out my anger and frustration by tearing apart a positively HUMUNGOUS button up shirt my dad gave me.

    It has gone from this:

    To this:

Yes, I completely butchered it, but that’s what happens when Katt’s pissed, no measuring, just cutting. Well I think hacking might be a better word. This is now named the Fail Skirt. It would look good on someone else but unfortunately I look dumb in it. I don't know what to do with it now.

  • I just felt like posting some pictures :)

Here's my red plaid shoulder bag. A little alteration that I haven't taken a picture of is that I rounded the corners more.

    Here are some WIPs

Here's a little itty bitty red and off-white striped purse. It is very much a work in progress, most of it is being held with pins at the moment. I should have it done very soon though. (Excuse my man-hand)

Here's the Hufflepuff pencil case turned feminine item bag when I realized it was too small to hold pencils. I screwed it up so I have to rip some seams and resew a little but oh well.

If you can't tell from my crappy photo, here's a crappy MS Paint drawing of what it's going to look like:

  • We Live On Front Porches And Swing Life Away

Hello all, I'm Katt. High school student. Horse nut. Fashion junkie. Amateur designer and seamstress. Minor annoyance to some. Lover of colour. Proud Canadian. Fresh blogger.

I've decided to make a blog about the stuff I do, I'm not entirely sure why, but I think it has something to do with the fact that I'm proud for not being lazy

I do t shirt reconstructions! I love it! I've made a dress, some pants, a skirt, a bag and done some pretty rad stuff to old t shirts.

I really like making bags too! I've made five bags so far. One I finished last night that I plan on giving to my friend. And also last night I was experimenting a little and came up with a Harry Potter Hufflepuff House pencil case, just because I'm a Harry Potter nerd and I happened to have gold and black fabric. Cookies for Katt!

I eventually hope to be able to sell my creations, but I think I will accumulate a nice amount first.

Well, that's my introduction, a somewhat lame one but oh well.
